By far the best chop in Cologne. Great service, unbelievably low prices for the quality offered. Reservations are almost mandatory.

Was once again a long time in this great restaurant. The thick cutlet is breaded, very tasty. Also very ? delicious, Budweiser on tap! Nice service. We can only hope that the Wirtz family will survive the crisis. I keep my fingers crossed.

Known in Cologne for decades. Cultivated brewery atmosphere, with delicious Kölsch and of course the city-famous cutlet. The boss himself is in the kitchen! So: "good"

Cozy, local, out of touristy area pub. Beer is delicious. The pork chop is insanely huge and delicious, as it is their specialty. There is no English menu, however, the bartender is very helpful.

It couldn't be more authentic. A must if you are hungry in the southern part of the city. The pork chop is just amazing. They don't do salads very well, typical of breweries, but that's why you don't go there primarily. The Kölsch could come a little bit faster. A clear recommendation, you have to be there. And then you keep coming back ...

If you like cheap and tasty food among the locals, it is definitely recommended. Nice atmosphere and the beers follow each other quickly. Add a dash and the evening is quickly filled.

Honest gastronomy! Rarely have we been so competent, fast and friendly, thanks to the young man! The food was delicious and the portion large enough, only the side salad, although it was fresh, did not convince us. The restaurant is very old and therefore authentic and perfect for the Kölner Südstadt. It is not a secret, so the reservation was important. We will definitely be back !!

I drank in here when both my kids were born in the hospital across the road 15 and 13 years ago to celebrate. However this time The guy behind the bar made it perfectly clear that it was a bother for him to serve me which is nothing unusual for this town, so he pored me a flat Budweiser, so I paid then left......

Definitely the best chops in Cologne. "Godfather of pork chop" is absolutely right. Otherwise, Cologne atmosphere of the finest. Only to be recommended.

Delicious food, excellent ambience, friendly service. I recommend the kolsch beer, the mushroom schnitzel, and the cutlets. Call ahead because the place is small.

My group left veryyyyy happy with their meals! They said this was the best food on our trip so far. I can personally say the tomato soup was great as I don’t do meat. We were also very pleased with the service!!

A quaint restaurant with suitable catering. Parking is likely to be difficult in the vicinity. The drinks came very quickly and the order was taken quickly. Despite a large group, the food came quickly. The dishes were delicious and you were full. The hospitality from a super real Cologne resident is actually a must. A visit is really recommended.
